Happy Birthday a Day Late!

We are a day late, but Happy Birthday from all of us. Hope you enjoy the video!

I just walked into Addy and Kaity's room, and I am greeted with.. Kaity can braid. I think there is NOOO way. Keep in mind the almost ten year old just learned how to do that yesterday. I stand and watch Kaity for a minute and sure enough she IS braiding. She is WAY too smart!!

All of the kiddos had AWANA tonight. Both Caleb and Addy are almost finished with their books. Addy has one more scripture to say and she will be finished. Tonight Caleb said, I believe, 32 scriptures! That is a lot of memory work. They get bucks for saying scripture. He came home with 92 buck from just tonight. We counted and in all he has 214 AWANA bucks. He has about four more extra sections to finish up his book.

Addy had an assignment for her poetry class to write a couplet. She is very proud of what she wrote. Here it is................ The Honey Bunny! I once saw a bunny. He was very funny. He loved his money, And ate lots of honey. His nose was runny, So he wiped it with his money.

Happy Easter! We enjoyed a day of food, family and fellowship! This year instead of eggs being hidden the entire basket was hidden. The kids enjoyed going out and finding their baskets. Hope you enjoy the video. We had a little bit of technical trouble with Kaity's part of the video, but wanted to have each kid represented.

Happy St Patty's Day! The kiddos are very excited about today. They have been trying to find someone to pinch. We all have on our green so they aren't having any luck. I heard talk of pinching the cat for not wearing green. That plan has been squelched though! Our plans for today include a long awaited trip to go ice skating. This should be a comical excursion.

We went to a local restaurant yesterday to dance. Here Kaity, Addy and some of the big girls are dancing. This was a different experience for the kids. They danced to live music. Up to now our kids have danced to a CD.

St. Patrick's Day!

This weekend, the kids will be involved the the Wichita's very own St. Patrick's Day Parade with the Corry Academy Dance School. This will be their second activity to do outside of class and they are very excited. They may do some performing along the sides of the street which should be a fun activity. Kaity has been appointed the Irish Princess at our dance school. On Tuesday, dad took her to a bridal shop to try on princess dresses (AKA Flower Girl Dresses). The dance teacher was giving dad a hard time about flashes to the big wedding day. YIKES! Time will probably fly by way too quick. Well, check back, we may have some pictures or videos of the parade after this weekend. CYA!

The kids danced out on Thursday! This was very exciting for all of us. All of the kids had a great time dancing. They danced for a senior luncheon and a preschool class at Grace Presbyterian. Hope you enjoy! There will be more videos to come!
