Caleb is talking in the middle of taking his picture. Ha Ha! For the first time this year the older two carved their own pumpkins. Caleb carved Frankenstein with a bow tie and Addy carved a cat. Kaity painted hers. I drew with a sharpie the design that she wanted. She then painted in the lines. Kaity loves her pumpkin so much that I have found it in her bed. It's name is Ally! Yes she even has earrings!

Granny's visit!

Granny Miller came to visit us this October. We went camping for three days! We enjoyed rock climbing, trail hikes and nice afternoon weather. Some highlights from the trip were playing charades in the tent. It was really cold and windy outside so we couldn't have a fire. We entertained ourselves learning this new game. It took a little while for the kids to catch on to the point of the game. Next camping trip I am sure they will be pros at it. Another exciting event was Addy picking up a scorpion. As many of you know Addy is a bug lover. Her motto is bugs are her friends. She learned on this trip that some bugs should be left alone!!! Dad showed her why one should never pick up a scorpion...especially by the tail!! One last tid bit!! Kaity was stung by a wasp. She was inspired by her big sis, who touched the wasp's bottom with a stick, to one up her. Kaity touched the wasp with her bare hands! Well there are many more pictures that we will post at a later date! Here is one really good one though!
Can you guess who he is? He is a missionary!!!

Reciting a poem

As a part of our celebration night the kids were able to present some of their work.
We finished nine weeks of school back in October. We celebrated with our fellow TOG coe-opers. As a part of the celebration the kids were able to dress up as a person that they had studied. Can you guess who they are????

Sleepy Girl!!

Someone was tuckered from the Scottish Fest!!!

Cathcing up! Eye Appointment!

We are VERY behind in posting!! I will be trying to catch up in a few posts, so hold on here it goes. Kaity had an eye appointment in Sept. The exciting news is that she is doing amazing. She is seeing 20/30 and 20/20. This is amazing considering the fact that she just had surgery in Feb and March. She is doing so well that after the next appointment we will probably be able to go every six months. What a victory for her. We have NEVER been able to go that long between eye appointments!!!
