How Did the Model T Make Life Faster and Easier

When Henry Ford made the Model T getting around was easier and faster. The Model T was faster than a horse could go. The assemble line made cars faster to make. The prices of cars dropped when the assembly line was made. Also work hours changed from nine to eight hour days. Pay increased to five dollars. People from the south to the north were looking for jobs. When this happened people started to move to the north. After the Model T was made highways were constructed. Now thanks to Henry Ford we have cars, highways and life is easier. Written by Caleb German
I think Renita's face says it all!! We were all excited to see the eruption of the volcano. I think Addy thought it was really going to blow because she started out behind the tree! She only came out when we assured her it would not explode, but rather ooze!
With our new program we have also started a new co-op group. We meet on Monday afternoons. Last week we studied the annexation of Hawaii, Teddy Roosevelt as president and the Panama Canal. At our co-op we made a volcano. The pictures show the process of making it and exploding it.
First day of school pictures! We have been doing school now for three weeks. We started a new program this year called Tapestry of Grace. It has been great for our family! Caleb is coloring a map of the empires at the turn of the century and Addy is reading a biography on Helen Keller.
