Blue & Gold Part 3...Action

Caleb crossing over to Boy Scouts. They have to tie a square knot and then the older boys throw over a rope and pull them over into Boy Scouts from Cub Scouts. Caleb with his new Boy Scout neckerchief. He is super excited. He has been radiating ever since. Dad being all but hog tied and drug over to Boy Scouts. I think the Senior Patrol Leader had too much fun.

Blue & Gold Part 2...Action

Caleb and the boys practicing a skit. They are supposedly crying...but I only see smiles. Kaity helping Scout Master Billy Vines set up the bridge for crossover. The whole Motley Crew...hahaha. These are all of my adopted sons...Jim is my co-leader. The boys are doing the Scout Oath in sign language. They did a great job. Caleb and his Arrow of Light Award. We are sooooo proud of him. We have been blessed with a wonderful son.

Not the best picture, but I just want you to notice the gold pin at the bottom! Caleb crossed over tonight. No, not to the dark side, but to boy scouts! We are both so very proud of him. He received his arrow of light tonight. More pictures to come!

Great Medicine!

Thursday night was a pretty rough night. We weren't expecting to have to stay in the hospital over night. Quick plans were made for Caleb and Kaity, and Mom and Dad dug in for the night! The night was filled with bi-hourly visits from the nurse with antibiotics, VERY loud neighbors and Addy's tummy not feeling very good. On Friday, with our tummy troubles still not resolved, we had some visitors. Two different families visited at the same time. These kids were the BEST medicine Addy could have gotten. It was after their visit that we started to see our perky Addy return. Thanks for the visit friends. You know who you were!

I am a little behind in blogging! Imagine that! At the beginning of this unit we studied the author Dr. Suess. What else were we to do other than make the Cat in the Hat's hat!

Day at the Park

All in a days work, swinging hard, pretending your a monkey, and well, just being plain cute. At the end of the day, we can all be proud to be an American...what a beautiful flag and country!

OUCH!

Well, here it is, the much awaited picture. As one of our friends said, this has "pucker power". I am petty sure everyone knows that Addy stepped on a toothpick a few weeks ago. Last Thursday, she had an entire toothpick removed from her foot. The smaller incision is the entry point. The larger was where the infection was located. My theory is that the small purple dash is either a marking to show how far the infection went out, or that is where the break in the toothpick. It was broken in half.
