Last night was the Sundown Parade which is the opening of the Riverfest here! While waiting for our turn to go we saw some friends who took pictures. Thanks! This was our second time in the parade but first time to Irish dance in it! We all had a blast but I must say the ride back to the float staging area was the best. More on that in a future blog!

For a Friend

We have completed yet another year of AWANA! We are very proud of all three of the kids for completing their books. Caleb and Addy completed the Silver part of their books as well. This is not rewarded in AWANA. It is an all or nothing sort of deal with them. You either don't complete any of the extra credit or you complete it all. There are two parts to the extra credit. Silver consists of learning extra verses and reviewing the ones you learned in the book. The gold is where you do special projects. Kaity is now a big girl. She will move up into Sparks next year. We are having a hard time convincing her that she has to wait until next Sept. to start Sparks!
